Mantra Band and Singer Neeta Thapa Arrive in UK to Perform at Nepali Open Concert

The main attraction of the concert to be held at the Rushmore Arena in Aldershot, UK, this Saturday, organized by the Magar Association UK, is Darjeeling's Mantra Band and the winner of Voice of Nepal Season 7, singer Neeta Thapa Magar, who arrived in London on Wednesday morning. The artists were welcomed at London Heathrow Airport by a team led by concert organizer Magar Sangh UK President Lal Bahadur Pun. The association's vice-president and concert coordinator Guman Singh Thapa, advisor and Buddha Mortgage director Kishore Rana, cultural co-coordinator Ruk Ale, youth president Deepak Thapa Maithane Magar, Sherjung Roka and other officials welcomed the artist to the UK with bouquets and food. Immediately after landing in the UK, the artists expressed their excitement about performing for the British audience and invited everyone to attend the concert. Bhaskar Dewan, lead vocalist of the popular Mantra band, said that they are eager to perform for the Nepali community in the UK. Recalling his first indoor performance in the UK 10 years ago, he expressed confidence that this time the open concert under the open sky will be even more special and entertaining. Manager and guitarist Pragya Lama said that the entire band has arrived in the UK with full preparations for the concert. Similarly, singer Neeta Thapa, the winner of Voice of Nepal Season 7, who is visiting the UK for the first time, said she is excited to perform at the open concert. She invited all Nepalis living in the UK to be ready for the concert. Magar Sangh UK President Lal Bahadur Pun expressed his pleasure in welcoming popular bands and artists for this year's concert. He invited everyone to participate in a full musical and entertaining program. Coordinator and Vice President of the association, Guman Singh Thapa, said that the organizers are excited to have artists like the legendary Mantra band and talented singer Neeta Thapa perform among Nepalis in the UK. He informed that all preparations for the concert have reached the final stage. The Nepali Open Concert has been organized every year in the UK with the slogan 'Music for Unity'. The concert aims to promote unity and harmony among Nepalis in the UK through music. This time, the 18th edition of the concert will feature performances by Mantra Band and Neeta Thapa, Voice of Nepal season 7 second runner-up Poonam Gurung, season 3 semi-finalist Gobin Pun, singers Samjhana Bhandari, Samjhana Budha, Rupi Sinjali, and the winners of the 8th Magar Got Talent, Elisa Pun and Pratima Pun. The concert will run from 1 pm to 10 pm. The concert venue will feature many stalls selling various services and merchandise, including Nepali food. Tickets for the concert cost £40 when purchased online, while tickets for the concert cost £50 when purchased at the venue.
