The 32nd International Tribal Festival will be held in Britain on August 8

Major Yogesh Koyi Railey, President of Nefin UK has informed that the festival is ready to start from 11:30 am on 8th August at Kirat House Gambles Lane, Woking Britain. He said that the main objective of the festival is to protect, promote and transmit the language, culture, art, literature, music, sports, tradition and identity of the tribal tribes of Nepal and to strengthen mutual harmony and unity among the various communities in Britain. He said that there will be cultural and religious tableau competition, male and female volleyball competition, traditional bow competition and cultural performance by volunteer artists during the festival. Through the tableau competition, various ethnic organizations will display tableaus reflecting their original culture, religious traditions, costumes, history and identity. It is expected to create an atmosphere of friendship, harmony and healthy competition among the communities through the Bhalibal and Dhanushwan competitions. Similarly, volunteer artists will present original songs, music, dance and cultural performances of various caste communities. Nefin UK has extended a warm request to all Aboriginal Tribal Organisations, Communities and Cultural Organizations across the UK to actively participate in the festival with their own cultural, religious and traditional tableaus. It is hoped that the tableau competition will contribute significantly to the preservation and promotion of the cultural diversity, originality and rich heritage of the tribal tribes of Nepal. Stall Booking Open Nefin UKCO has decided to open stall booking for the festival on 21st June at The Palace Restaurant, Aldersatram. Individuals or organizations interested in exhibiting food, handicrafts, businesses, social organizations, cultural exhibitions and other materials can book a stall. As allotment of stalls will be done on “first come first served” basis, all interested parties are requested to book in time. The annual dinner night program organized on 10 May 2026 was also reviewed in the meeting. The meeting concluded that the Dinner Night 2026 was very successfully completed, Nefin UK Secretary General Fram Durale informed.
